What work is on your agenda today?
How can you ensure success?
Believe that you are the creation of God’s work.
Ephesians 2:10a – “For we are His workmanship.”
Remember that your work doesn’t save you.
Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith…not as a result of works.”
Ask God to show you the good work He prepared for you to accomplish today.
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
Surrender your work (and the results) before you begin.
Proverbs 16:3 – “Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Jump into those tasks with all you heart.
Colossians 3:23 – “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men.”
Consider rest as an integral part of your work.
“enesis 2:2 – “God rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.”
Trust that God is still working in you.
Philippians 1:6 – “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.”

This is a great post, Aimee! Several verses I love are here but I’ve never seen them brought together like that before! I love how they come together to give great advice about our work and God’s work in us. Visiting from FMF #35.

I had never connected them either until this morning. I’m thankful for the prompt this week to give me some sweet time with my Jesus!
